Rastro de Argual – Un domingo lleno de descubrimientos
En la soleada vertiente oeste de La Palma, en pleno idílico Valle de Aridane, cada domingo por la mañana la histórica Plaza Sotomayor se convierte en un animado punto de encuentro. Muy cerca de los arcos del acueducto, la plaza ofrece un ambiente único para disfrutar y pasear.
Los habitantes de la isla recorren los puestos charlando con amigos y vecinos, mientras que visitantes de todo el mundo disfrutan del ambiente acogedor y familiar. Rodeado de majestuosos árboles y edificios históricos, es el lugar perfecto para curiosear: desde tesoros clásicos de rastro, ropa de segunda mano y plantas, hasta artesanía original y de calidad hecha con mucho cariño. Siempre hay algo especial que llevarse, ya sea como recuerdo de la Isla Bonita o como regalo.
Quien quiera hacer una pausa, puede disfrutar de un café, un bocadillo o una bebida fresca, acompañado por la música de distintos artistas. El encanto de este lugar mágico convierte cada visita en una experiencia para todos los sentidos.

Argual Flea Market – A Sunday full of discoveries
On the sunny west side of La Palma, right in the heart of the idyllic Aridane Valley, the historic Plaza Sotomayor turns every Sunday morning into a lively meeting place. Located close to the arches of the aqueduct, the square offers a unique atmosphere to stroll and enjoy.
Locals wander among the market stands, chatting with friends and neighbors, while visitors from all over the world soak up the warm and welcoming vibe. Surrounded by majestic trees and historic buildings, it’s the perfect place to browse: from classic flea market treasures, second-hand clothes and plants, to original, high-quality handicrafts lovingly made. Whether as a keepsake from the Isla Bonita or a gift for someone special – you’ll always find something unique.
When it’s time for a break, enjoy a coffee, a tasty snack, or a refreshing drink while listening to music performed by artists from near and far. The magical charm of this square makes every visit a true experience for all the senses.
Clean and well-kept, the square also offers restrooms and nearby parking – making the Argual Flea Market one of the most pleasant on the island.

Flohmarkt Argual – Ein Sonntag voller Entdeckungen
Auf der sonnigen Westseite La Palmas, mitten im idyllischen Aridanetal, verwandelt sich jeden Sonntagvormittag der historische Platz Sotomayor in einen lebendigen Treffpunkt. Ganz in der Nähe der markanten Bögen des Aquädukts gelegen, lädt der Platz mit seiner besonderen Atmosphäre zum Verweilen ein.
Einheimische schlendern zwischen den Ständen, plaudern mit Freunden und Nachbarn, während Besucher aus aller Welt das gemütliche, familiäre Ambiente genießen. Umgeben von ehrwürdigen Bäumen und historischen Gebäuden lässt es sich wunderbar stöbern: Von klassischen Flohmarkt-Schätzen über Second-Hand-Kleidung und Pflanzen bis hin zu Kunsthandwerk – hier findet garantiert jeder etwas Besonderes. Ob als kleines Mitbringsel, Erinnerung an die Isla Bonita oder Geschenke: Alles ist mit viel Liebe gestaltet.
Wer zwischendurch eine Pause braucht, kann sich bei Kaffee, leckeren Snacks oder einem kühlen Getränk stärken und den Klängen verschiedener Musiker lauschen. Das besondere Flair dieses magischen Ortes macht jeden Besuch zu einem Erlebnis für alle Sinne.
